Here are 45 places to throw a kids’ birthday party in and around Indianapolis, from toddler play cafes and trampoline parks to pottery studios, roller rinks, a nature center and summer water parks. Each of the 45 birthday party venues lists its address, starting price, best ages and what the package covers, and every one was checked against the venue’s own party page in October 2026. Short on time? Our picks by age, budget and group size come first, and a quick guide to all 45 closes the page.

Booking a Kids’ Birthday Party: Deposits, Food Rules and Headcounts
Weekdays save money at a lot of these places. Smiley is $320 Monday through Thursday and $375 on weekends, Carter’s Play Place is $250 on a weekday and $350 on a weekend, Adrenaline takes 20% off Monday through Thursday, and K1 Speed drops from $75 to $65 a racer.
Read the food rules before you order a cake. Adrenaline and Freedom Springs allow only cake from outside, the library allows light snacks, and Urban Air includes pizza only when you add the private room. Kids Empire charges $5 per child and Ultimate Ninjas $15 per party to bring your own food. Busy Bee, Carter’s, North Mass Boulder, uPaint and the water park patios leave the food to you.
The starting price isn’t always the final bill. Pinheads adds tax and a 21% service charge, Bath Junkie adds a 20% gratuity, Smiley adds a 6% service fee to room parties and charges adults their own admission, Wright’s adds $50 for families who aren’t members, and Topgolf counts every person who attends.
Some places need more lead time than others. Topgolf books three to 60 days out, library rooms need two weeks, K1 Speed takes no same-day parties, Splash Island needs 48 hours and Seashore’s party calendar opens Jan. 4.
