Lights at the Brickyard is like a holiday dream come true for race fans, but you don’t have to be a fan of racing to enjoy this holiday tradition. More than 2.5 million lights and 500 different displays illuminate the historic Indianapolis Motor Speedway, turning it into a festive wonderland that everyone can enjoy.
The train, which consists of an engine and four cars, does not ride on a track, but on wheels. Each family rides in their own car. We have four children and brought along Nana, so there were three adults and four children riding in our car. We all sat comfortably, but definitely used up every inch of passenger space!

The Junior League of Indianapolis presents the annual Holiday Mart! A favorite tradition in the Indianapolis area, the Holiday Mart brings nearly 100 unique merchants from across the country to the Blue Ribbon Pavilion at the Indiana State Fairgrounds
The Carmel Christkindlmarkt is bringing the charm of a long standing European tradition to the heart of Carmel, Indiana. One of the earliest of these markets was the 16th century Christkindlmarkt in Nuremberg, Germany and the wonderful tradition has now spread worldwide. Guests will experience one of a kind, high quality, handmade gifts, Germanic inspired food, drink and ice skating.
