During this one-hour program our youngest visitors will enjoy circle time, story time, station explorations and movement time in our early childhood space, Firefly Landing. Caregivers will learn alongside their children as they practice skills like problem-solving and social-emotional communication while developing their fine and gross motor skills through play-based, open-ended activities.

What critters are living in your neighborhood? Bring your little scientist to investigate the many animals native to Indiana that you might encounter in your own backyard. After the program, you can head over to the Natural Regions gallery to listen to frogs and see how many animal friends you can spot.

Each child must be accompanied by an adult.

Bierman Autism Centers in Westfield is hosting Spring on the Farm, a free sensory-friendly outdoor petting zoo designed especially for children with autism ages 2–9, though all families are welcome. Kids can meet animals like an alpaca, mini horse, baby calf, goats, sheep, bunnies, ducks, and chickens in a calm outdoor setting built for exploring at an easy pace.

The event also includes farm-themed crafts, snack stations, and a quiet corner available throughout the morning for children who need a break. Spots are limited, and RSVP is encouraged.

The Stutz Block Party invites families to spend the day at the iconic Stutz building enjoying live music, food, art, and hands-on activities. Guests can browse local makers and artists, explore open studios, watch live painting, and meet the artists who work inside the Stutz.

The event also includes food from spots like Cafe Patachou, Amelia’s, and Julieta’s, along with face painting, live caricature drawings, and workshops in the SPACE Lounge. Admission is free and open to the public.

Children will explore the museum galleries and engage in hands-on science, art and sensory activities based on a monthly theme.

Join us for some deep sea exploration as young explorers discover the plants and animals that make the ocean’s ecosystem thrive. We’ll learn through sensory exploration, art creation and a hands-on science investigation.

This class is for children to attend on their own. Caregivers do not accompany child or participate in the program.

Each activity invites children and families to make, invent and play!
