Cirque Indy to offer kids aerial class

As Chief Mom Officer of theCityMoms – a support network for moms passionate about getting out into the Indianapolis community – it’s a blast introducing our members to fun activities around town they might not otherwise know about.

Cirque Indy was one of those such places. It’s the only “circus school” program in the greater Indianapolis area, skilled in instruction of static trapeze, aerial silks, acrobatics and more. 

We’ve held a few MNOs {that’s our language for ‘moms night out’} with Cirque Indy in the past year for their aerial silks class. It teaches students how to suspend themselves in silk ropes hung from the ceiling and requires incredible arm, leg and core muscles. Our members always come away with We need to do that again. Stat. comments.

So suffice it to say that when news popped up this weekend that Cirque Indy was offering a KIDS Aerial Silks Workshop, our private members-only forum started buzzing. Not a TON of details are available, but here’s what we know:

• – Class will run Saturday, 11/21 from 11-12pm
• – Registration is required
• – Class fee is $15/child
• – This is best recommended for kids ages 7 and up

If your kiddo is remotely interested in acrobatics, gymnastics or the like, this class will be a killer addition to their Saturday. Don’t forget to register because there are a lot of CityMoms and CityKids chomping at the bit to join in too.
