Trisha Lawless is an Indianapolis-based corporate communications advisor and freelance writer who began her career as a television news journalist. She enjoys performing in local theatre productions as her schedule permits, and has appeared in roles with Beef & Boards Dinner Theatre, Indianapolis Civic Theatre, and BobDirex. Trisha and her husband Ben are proud residents of Indy’s Historic Irvington neighborhood where they live with their children (middle school through college age) and Golden Retriever.
Trisha’s anchoring and reporting work at WCIA, WHOTV, and WRTV earned her two Associated Press awards and two Illinois Broadcasters’ Association awards. She pioneered a series of “Generation X Moms” television and web reports through WHOTV in Des Moines, Iowa and wrote popular blogs on whotv.com and theindychannel.com. She is a Summa Cum Laude graduate of St. Norbert College in DePere, Wis., with a B.A. in Communications, Media and Theatre and a minor in Spanish.
Trisha is a mom of three children, Calvin, Clara and Daisy May. In her spare time, Trisha is a musical theatre addict who is active in the Indianapolis theatre scene. Along with singing, she loves biking, watching baseball games and spending time outdoors.
