The Ice at Center Green

10 Center Green, Carmel
Dates: November 19, 2022 – February 26, 2023 | Daily Schedule 

Ice at Center Green in the heart of beautiful Carmel aims to provide a fun and affordable way for families to get outdoors and enjoy Carmel’s chilly winters together. The Ice at Center Green is open from Mid-November until the end of February. Ice Skate sessions are 90 minutes long (Wednesday & Thursdays sessions are longer than 90 minutes).

Food and beverages are available near the rink or slip on over to City Center, Midtown Plaza or the Carmel Arts & Design District to enjoy some great local fare.

Looking to host a private ice skating event? The Ice at Carter Green is available on Mondays and Tuesdays for private rentals. It will also be available on Wednesdays starting on January 1, 2022.

Admission: $8/person 10 and under; $10/person 11+; $4 skate rental

Ice Rink at Holliday Park

6363 Spring Mill Rd, Indianapolis
Dates: November 25, 2022 – January 29, 2023 | Daily Schedule 

The Holliday Park Foundation recently announced plans for a brand-new skating rink at Holliday Park. This new attraction will allow people to enjoy the park during the cold months and make it a new holiday tradition.

Admission: $13/person; children 4 and under are free. Skate rental included with admission ticket. 

Lawrence Civic Plaza

5710 Lawrence Village Pkwy, Indianapolis
Dates: Open November 26-December 23, 2022; Fridays- 4pm – 8pm; Saturdays & Sundays- 2pm – 8pm

Lawrence Civic Plaza is home to their very own ice skating rink! The 60 x 80 foot rink is made from a special material that recreates the glide of natural ice.

Penguin Park at Washington Township Park (Synthetic Ice Rink)

15 S. County Rd. 575 E., Avon
Dates: Nov 11, 2022-Feb. 26, 2023

The main attraction at Penguin Park is the large, synthetic ice rink. Guests can strap on roller skates or roller blades and skate on the pretend ice rink. For those just learning to glide on a pair of skates, skate aids are available for free. Open until Jan. 2, 2022.

Carmel Ice Skadium offers a friendly atmosphere where you can enjoy public ice skating while listening to music and socializing with family, friends and possibly meeting new people. To mix things up, Cosmic Skating is when we turn down the lights and turn up the heat with theatrical lighting, special effects and awesome music. Hang out with your friends and have a cool time! Usually every Friday and Saturday night.

Does your child want to learn to ice skate? Carmel International Ice Skating Academy accepts ice skaters ages 3+.

Arctic Zone has a lot to offer guests including public ice skating, lessons, stick and puck hours, Birthday parties, hockey clinics, camps, and a High School hockey high-intensity weight training program.

Fuel Tank at Fishers

The Fuel Tank at Fishers offers public skating daily. Holiday skate times are also available. The live schedule is updated regularly and can be viewed at indyfueltank.com/publicskating.

Thinking about taking lessons? The Fuel Tank hosts the USFS Basic Skills program. Classes are offered year-round for ages 3 and up at all skill levels. Skaters will learn proper skating techniques to enjoy skating in any on-ice situation. Both classes in figure skating and ice hockey are offered.

Admission: $9/person; $12 for Cosmic Rock N Skate w/ Live DJ; $3 skate rental.

Pop Weaver Youth Pavilion at the Indiana State Fairgrounds and Event Center

Attached to the Indiana Farmers Coliseum, the Pop Weaver Youth Pavilion and Cheri Daniels Arena is now managed by the Fuel Tank staff. Customers will continue to enjoy skating activities from September to February. Public skating sessions are on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.
