Ice Age Giants

Indiana State Museum and Historic Sites

Indiana State Museum will explore Ice Age animals and their environments, what happens at a real dig site and the research that helps us to understand prehistoric mammals. The exhibit features real mounted skeletons and casts of Ice Age animals, as well as fossil tusks and skulls. Standard Museum Admission.

 

Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood Live

Friday, February 17, 6:30-9:30 p.m.

Old National Centre

The legacy of the beloved “Mister Rogers” lives on with the hit television series, Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood, from The Fred Rogers Company and airing daily on PBS KIDS. Donning his iconic red sweater, Daniel invites the audience on an interactive musical adventure as he and his friends explore the vibrant world of their much-loved Neighborhood of Make-Believe, sharing stories of friendship, helping others, and celebrating new experiences. This live theatrical production filled with singing, dancing, laughter and “grr-ific” surprises will warm the hearts of multiple generations. ($25-$45).

Indy’s Child 28th Annual Summer Camp Fair

Saturday, February 18, 11 a.m.-3 p.m.

Castleton Square Mall

Gather your future campers! On February 18th, families from all over Central Indiana are invited to join us at the 28th Annual Indy’s Child Magazine Summer Camp Fair. More than 40 overnight camp, day camp and summer program exhibitors will be on hand to answer your questions. Plan your child’s summer of fun all in one day.

To top it off, there will also be lots of fun entertainment from face painters, our prize wheel, mock covers, and much more.

YMCA at City Way

Thanks to our new Presenting Sponsor, Franciscan at CityWay, the 2016 Polar Bear will have a new course and POST PARTY! The ultra fast course will take you to Fountain Square, then west to Meridian and back to CityWay. The 5 miler will take you north on Delaware to New York to East and back to the finish in front of CityWay. Packet Pickup and awards will be in the new Franciscan CityWay. The post party will be held at Tow Yard Brewing. We hope you join us for the NEW 34th Annual Polar Bear! ($20-$50)

Pinkalicious, the Musical at Beef and Boards Dinner Theatre

Opens February 18 and runs though March 18

Beef & Boards Dinner Theatre

Pinkalicious, the Musical opens the 2017 Live Theatre for Kids series at Beef & Boards, and is on stage through March 18. Pyramid Players productions are one hour in length and presented without intermission. Performances are for all ages, but offered particularly for children in preschool through sixth grade. Children have the opportunity to meet the cast after each show for pictures and autographs.

Performances take place at 10 a.m. on Fridays and at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. on Saturdays. All tickets are $16.50 and include a snack. For reservations, contact the box office at 317.872.9664. Box office hours are 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday through Sunday, and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Mondays.
