Fall Foliage Express

The Fall Foliage Express takes passengers along the historic Nickel Plate Road for a fall train ride through the countryside of northern Hamilton County. Families will ride aboard a vintage 1956 train car while taking in the changing leaves and seasonal scenery around Noblesville.

Each ticket includes a cup of local apple cider and a fall sweet treat. Additional beverages, including fall cocktails, beer and wine, are available for purchase aboard the train. Additional purchases are credit card only.

2026 Fall Foliage Express Dates

The Fall Foliage Express runs on select dates in October and November.

• October: October 10, 11, 17, 18 and 25
• November: November 1
• Overall Experience: Approximately 90 minutes
• Train Ride: Approximately 75 minutes

Seating Options

• Standard Reserved Coach: Roomy reserved coach seating. Children younger than 3 may ride on an adult’s lap with a free lap-child ticket reserved during checkout.
• Diamond Class: Premium seating at four-person booth-style tables with convenient access to the walk-up bar. Guests purchasing fewer than four seats may be seated with other passengers. Lap children are not permitted at these tables.
• Platinum Class: A private table with seating and admission for up to four people. Lap children are not permitted at these tables.
• Caboose: An open-air-style experience where passengers can hear and feel the train along the tracks. The caboose does not have heat or restrooms and may not be a good fit for guests with sound sensitivities.

Tickets & Reservations

• Diamond Class: $35 per person
• Platinum Class Table for 4: $120, including admission for up to four people
• Standard Adult, ages 13+: $28
• Standard Child, ages 3-12: $26
• Standard Infant, younger than 3: Free when riding on an adult’s lap; a lap-child ticket is still required
• Caboose: $20 per person; all ages require a ticket
