The 17th annual Trail of Scarecrows lines Prophetstown State Park’s paved, accessible trail from the Prairie View picnic area to the Aquatic Center, a mile each way, with scarecrows to see on foot or by bike. The trail is open daily during park hours and is included with the park entrance fee.
Visitors can vote for their favorite scarecrow by donating $1 per vote to the park’s interpretive programs fund. Ballots are available at the main gate and the visitor center.
