Wild Birds Unlimited in Avon and Washington Township Parks host a live bat presentation featuring Dr. Tim Carter of Ball State University, who shares insights from his research on bats, including the endangered Indiana bat. Guests can meet Chocolate and Petunia, two live native bats, and learn why bats are important to the ecosystem and how to help protect them.
An optional hike follows the presentation. The program is free, and registration is strongly encouraged.
