Morgan County Parks and Recreation spends Halloween night at Old Town Waverly Park in Martinsville with a trunk-or-treat, a haunted trail and a Halloween movie on the town square.
The trunk-or-treat runs from 5 to 7 p.m. The haunted trail is kid-friendly from 6 to 7 p.m., then fully haunted from 7 to 9 p.m., so families with younger kids may want to come early. Along the way are the Blood Bank Vampires, the Blacksmith Zombies and the Sanderson Sisters’ Witches Cottage, and the Pumpkin Patch Cafe sells food. Families can bring a blanket for the movie.
Admission is $10 for adults and $5 for ages 6 to 12. Kids 5 and under get in free with a parent.
