Climb aboard for a timeless journey through the hills and forests of Southern Indiana. Departing from the historic 1907 limestone depot in the heart of French Lick, this 90-minute train ride is the perfect way to experience the region’s renowned natural beauty, which is especially vibrant during the autumn months.
The Scenic Journey & Burton Tunnel
The train travels on a winding, 20-mile round trip through portions of the magnificent Hoosier National Forest. The highlight of the trip is the passage through the historic Burton Tunnel. As you ride through, look for the slight “corner” in the middle where the two construction crews didn’t quite meet up perfectly!
