Newfields Summer Nights: Top Hat

The National Bank of Indianapolis Summer Nights Film Series is back at Newfields this summer, and this year the beloved tradition celebrates 50 years of flicks and fun. Grab family and friends, pack a blanket or a few chairs, and settle in for movies under the stars. The 2026 lineup stretches across decades, mixing timeless classics, recent hits and short films. Concessions and drinks are available on site, but guests are welcome to bring their own picnic and non-alcoholic beverages. Sunscreen and bug spray are a good idea too.

Top Hat

One of the first films ever screened at Summer Nights, Top Hat returns with witty banter, mistaken identities and iconic dance numbers from Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers, all set to an Irving Berlin soundtrack.
