Newfields Summer Nights: The Fifth Element

The National Bank of Indianapolis Summer Nights Film Series is back at Newfields this summer, and this year the beloved tradition celebrates 50 years of flicks and fun. Grab family and friends, pack a blanket or a few chairs, and settle in for movies under the stars. The 2026 lineup stretches across decades, mixing timeless classics, recent hits and short films. Concessions and drinks are available on site, but guests are welcome to bring their own picnic and non-alcoholic beverages. Sunscreen and bug spray are a good idea too.

The Fifth Element

Former commando turned cab driver Korben Dallas is pulled into an ancient battle when he rescues Leeloo, the perfect being created to protect life in the universe. This Summer Nights screening brings a sci-fi favorite to the outdoor series.
