Newfields Summer Nights: Cabaret

The National Bank of Indianapolis Summer Nights Film Series is back at Newfields this summer, and this year the beloved tradition celebrates 50 years of flicks and fun. Grab family and friends, pack a blanket or a few chairs, and settle in for movies under the stars. The 2026 lineup stretches across decades, mixing timeless classics, recent hits and short films. Concessions and drinks are available on site, but guests are welcome to bring their own picnic and non-alcoholic beverages. Sunscreen and bug spray are a good idea too.

Cabaret

Set in 1931 Berlin, this Summer Nights screening follows British academic Brian Roberts as he befriends American cabaret singer Sally Bowles while the Nazi Party rises around them. Before the film, guests can take dance lessons from the Indy Dance Council.
