Newfields Summer Nights: Some Like It Hot

The National Bank of Indianapolis Summer Nights Film Series is back at Newfields this summer, and this year the beloved tradition celebrates 50 years of flicks and fun. Grab family and friends, pack a blanket or a few chairs, and settle in for movies under the stars. The 2026 lineup stretches across decades, mixing timeless classics, recent hits and short films. Concessions and drinks are available on site, but guests are welcome to bring their own picnic and non-alcoholic beverages. Sunscreen and bug spray are a good idea too.

Some Like It Hot

After witnessing a mob hit, musicians Joe and Jerry go on the run by disguising themselves and joining an all-women jazz band headed to Florida. Complications pile up fast when romance, mistaken identities and a billionaire admirer enter the picture. Before the film, guests can catch a performance by Indy Drag Theater.
