This southern Indiana spot was recently named one of the top water parks in the United States by TripAdvisor and with good reason: Because it is! Not only are tickets good for both Splashin Safari and its adjacent theme park, Holiday World, there’s oodles of fun from slides to rides to wave pools. Bonus: They provide free soft drinks in Holiday World and Splashin’ Safari (which include lemonade, Gatorade, iced teas, and water, in addition to carbonated beverages).
- Hours/Cost: 11am-7pm on weekdays/Sundays; 11am-8pm on Saturdays. General Admission: They offer pick your price online e-ticket options. Daily admission differs daily so be sure to check HERE to save and get your tickets before you go. Another bonus: NO extra fees!

Deep River Waterpark, Crown Point

After expanding in 2005, Deep River Waterpark is Northern Indiana’s largest water park. The park features many fun activities and rides for all ages, from toddlers to grandparents Guest won’t want to miss this park’s newest attraction, the KRAKEN, a 6 lane mat slide racer ride. Bonus: Deep River Waterpark is a “cooler friendly waterpark” which means you are allowed to bring in your own cooler!
Hours/Cost: Deep River Waterpark is open 9am -5pm on the following days, May 28 thru 30 + June 3, 4, 5 + June 10 thru 12 + June 15 thru 19 + June 22 thru 26
+ June 29 thru August 14 + August 20, 21, 27, 28 + September 3, 4, 5. A standard ticket is $37.95 Monday-Friday, and $39.95 on Saturday-Sunday. Guest under 46″ and seniors over 60 are discounted $4. Freedom Springs Aquatic Center, Greenwood

What’s notable about Freedom Springs? Pretty much everything. From the mass of blue and red slides to the lazy river to the splash pad for little ones, Indianapolis-area families also enjoy Freedom Springs for their late Thursday evenings when the park is open until 10 pm.
- Hours/Cost: Mondays through Saturdays 11:00 am-8:00 pm; Sundays Noon-6:00 pm, and Thrilling Thursdays 11:00 am-10:00 pm. Greenwood resident adults $8; non-residents $10. Resident child $6; non-residents $8. Infants (0-2): FREE. Discounts are available for military and seniors.


Murphy Aquatic Park in Avon
Address: 753 S County Rd 625 E, Avon
New in 2022! The waterpark will include a wave pool, water slides, toddler zone, and a large play feature in the center of the pool. What’s more, the central water playground is completely ADA accessible. Each body of water is zero-depth entry and everything is wheelchair accessible. There will also be water wheelchairs available for those that want to get in the water and join in the fun.
- Hours/Cost: Murphy Aquatic Park is open daily from 11 am to 6 pm. Admission prices are $10/person; or $8 for Avon residents.

Pine Lake Water Park

Pine Lake Waterpark is the perfect summer day trip for families looking to spend the day at the beach. Pine Lake Waterpark, located about 2-hours north of Indianapolis, has been a family-run business since 1922. Guests can soak up the sun each summer at this unique beach/waterpark.

Prophetstown State Park Aquatic Center, West Lafayette

The perfect way to cap off your camping trip or day’s visit to Prophetstown State Park, we know their Aquatic Center is also worth the drive for a visit. This water park includes a tots splash pool, lazy river, and adventure slides, plus an on-site snack bar to curb any after-swim hunger.

Splash Island, Plainfield

Two pulsating vortexes and a lily pad crossing make this tropical paradise an adventure. This is an indoor and outdoor water park with tons of play features and a 900-foot lazy river. Features Wet Wednesdays Night Swims from 7:00 pm- 10:00 pm.

Seashore Water Park, Lebanon

From zero entry to 3 feet deep your children can busy themselves in our kiddie area complete with small slides, interactive water toys, geysers and an over-sized bucket that spills out over the entire feature – just don’t get caught underneath it unless you’re ready to get wet!

Monon Community Center, Carmel

Definitely, a fan favorite in the general Indianapolis area, the Monon Community Center Waterpark includes the basics like a kiddie pool, zero-depth activity pool, and 1/8 mile lazy river. And then there are unique features like the FlowRider (which allows a swimmer to try out surfing in a pool setting) and AquaClimb (a climbing activity above a pool drop). Bonus: All pools are heated to 78 degrees. Plus, have you heard of the adults-only Monon Mixers?!
- Hours/Cost: The Monon Community Center Waterpark is open from 11 a.m.-7 p.m. Monday through Sunday from Memorial Day through August 9. After August 9, the waterpark is closed on weekdays but open from 11 a.m.-6 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. General admission is $15 for adults and $12 for kids ages 3-15, as well as seniors.
Franklin Family Aquatic Center, Franklin

What’s cool at this spot? It offers an Olympic-sized pool with diving well, 190-foot water slide, a zero depth pool with a play structure including 16 interactive play features, water basketball, concession stand, and sun decks.
