Finding somewhere to cool down on a hot day is easy this summer. From beaches to pools, the Indianapolis area has something for every age and every mood.

You don’t need to travel far to feel sand between your toes! The beach is open daily from 11 a.m. – 7 p.m. between Memorial Day and Labor Day. Admission is free for Fishers residents and kids under 2 and $5 for non-residents.

Located on 4.3 acres in Plainfield, Splash Island has water slides, an interactive play area, water basketball court, and more. Guests are allowed to bring coolers, but note that coolers will be checked and glass is not allowed. Daily admission rates range from $4-$11 depending on age, residency status, etc.
Open in June and July, the beach has multiple swimming areas, “Plunge Harbor,” and lifeguards. A playground and beach volleyball are available on land. Kids under 2 are free, youths and seniors are $4 weekdays/$5 weekends, and adults are $5 weekdays/$6 weekends.

This 38-acre park in Zionsville includes walking paths, a skate park, picnic shelters, a splash pad, and more! The free splash pad is open every day from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day, 9am – 9pm.
