The Giant Treehouse:

The giant Treehouse is just one aspect of the fun playspace. There are several riding toys – including Big Wheels and PlasmaCars — to ride around the huge, open, natural-light-filled room. Several play stations are set up with different manipulatives, including Duplo blocks, LEGO, cars and a racetrack, hula hoops, and traffic cones.

The best part for parents is the abundance of comfy couches in the play area. The seating at the Treehouse is set up in a way that allows you to see your child play, no matter where you sit. Three cheers for supervising while not moving a muscle!

This indoor playground differs from other indoor playgrounds in two significant ways. First, you do not take off your shoes to play. Everyone always keeps their shoes on because even though this is an indoor playground, the equipment is similar to the kind you’d find at an outdoor playground.

Snacks are welcome!

Second, The Treehouse is pretty casual about bringing in your own snacks, so eating is permitted in the lounge area, but not while playing in the Treehouse, for safety’s sake.

Another aspect that parents will enjoy is the kitchen that sits adjacent to the playspace. In the kitchen, you can find free coffee and water, as well as those other wintertime necessities: tissues and copious bottles of hand sanitizer.

FREE and open to the community

One of the best things of all about The Treehouse at Plainfield Christian Church is that it’s free and open to the community. You don’t have to be a member of the church to visit. A clean, fun, and free place to burn off energy when the weather is cold? You can bet we will be back many times!
