What makes The Performing Arts Conservatory unique?

Students will focus on each performance arts discipline (choir, drama, strings, and dance/movement) and will also learn about other non-performance areas in the industry. They will learn about performing arts careers, while being introduced to what is required to enter this industry, and the type of discipline and commitment required to master their skill.

Campers spend approximately 15% of their time outside.

Does The Performing Arts Conservatory provide lunch/snacks or do parents need to provide them?

Our camp provides snacks daily. Parents should provide lunch for their campers daily.

What is the typical daily schedule for campers?

Morning – Announcements, icebreaker, drama instruction, and break
Mid Morning – Dance/ Movement
Lunch and Outside Time
Afternoon – String Instruction, Icebreaker, and break
End of Day – Choral Instruction, guest speakers, and camper bonding time
Fields trips are scheduled during the week of camp.

How old are the counselors and how are they trained?

The counselor range in ages 19 – 55. All counselors are professionally trained in the performing arts industry, have extensive performing arts experience, and hold college degrees.

What accommodations are made for campers with special needs?

There are no additional accommodations for campers with special needs.

Do I need to know how to play an instrument, know how to dance, act or sing?

No previous experience is necessary!
