I was first introduced to the Park at Traders Point Christian Church last year. A neighbor asked if we wanted to go. I said sure but didn’t know exactly what to expect. I was very pleasantly surprised. The Park is much bigger than I expected. It is open year round so you can enjoy it no matter what our crazy Indiana weather is doing.
The Park is made up of 6 different areas. The playschool structure is specifically for infants and toddlers. It is smaller and reserved just for this age group. In the basketball courts you can experience some “outdoor” play. Shoot some hoops or play hopscotch and foursquare. There is also a rock wall for climbing. The quiet zone was designed for guests with special needs or for those who may be over stimulated and just need a little break. The Oasis is where you can enjoy a snack or even lunch.
It can get busy so be prepared. You can call ahead and see if there is a wait. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Also, keep in mind that the Park is closed the first Monday of each month for deep cleaning. If you are coming with a large group they ask that you contact them to make arrangements.
