A Day at Morse Beach
Morse Beach is a simple lake beach, which is part of the appeal. Families can swim, spread out on the beach, bring chairs, use the restrooms and make a low-key afternoon out of it. It is not the same as a full water park with slides and lazy rivers, so set expectations accordingly before kids start negotiating in the parking lot.
The swimming area is part of Morse Reservoir, and parents should plan on staying close to kids in the water. Morse Beach rules note that activities are at your own risk and beach monitors observe activities only. Children who are not potty trained must wear swim diapers.

The beach is the main summer draw. Admission includes access to the beach area during posted beach hours, and the location makes it a convenient choice for Noblesville, Westfield, Carmel and Fishers families who want water without committing to a longer drive.
Play at the Lakeside Playground
Morse Park and Beach also has a playground, which makes the park easier with kids who want to move between swimming and dry-land play. The playground is a good backup plan if the beach is crowded, the weather turns or younger kids are done swimming long before everyone else is ready to leave.
Try Disc Golf, Fishing and Volleyball
The park has an 18-hole disc golf course, fishing areas, a boat dock and sand volleyball. These are useful add-ons if you are visiting with older kids, mixed ages or anyone who claims they are “not really a beach person” and then somehow still eats all the snacks.
Use the Picnic Areas and Shelters
Picnic tables and shelters are available throughout the park. Shelter reservations are handled through Hamilton County Parks, so check the official park page before planning a larger gathering or birthday party.

- Check for weather updates before leaving. Beach hours can be affected by weather, temperatures or water conditions.
- Bring chairs or a blanket. Shade and seating can be limited on busy summer days.
- Plan for lake swimming. This is a reservoir beach, not a chlorinated pool.
- Float rules are limited. Morse Beach rules allow flotation devices only in the shallow area.
- The park itself is open beyond beach hours. The beach has seasonal hours, but Morse Park is listed as open 24 hours.
