Carmel Clay Parks & Recreation will host their annual Touch a Truck event on Wednesday, July 20 in the Carmel High School stadium parking lot. The event will take place from 10 am to noon and costs $3 per child. Children under 2 and adults are free.
Touch a Truck, sponsored by Primrose School at West Carmel, gives children the opportunity to use their imaginations and interact with many of their favorite vehicles. Featured vehicles include an R44 Helicopter, a school bus, an Indiana National Guard Humvee, the Game Tank Video Game Command Center and much more. Kona Ice will also be onsite selling snow cones.
“This is one of our favorite annual events,” said Traci Broman, Events Supervisor at Carmel Clay Parks & Recreation. “It’s great to see the kids’ faces light up when they hop into the front seat of a police car or fire truck for the first time.”
Participants are encouraged to pre-register online at carmelclayparks.com. For more information regarding Touch a Truck, please contact Traci Broman at [email protected].
