IMA celebrates Summer Solstice with free admission on June 18th

A FREE day of admission at the Indianapolis Museum of Art is worth all the exclamation points. And luckily we have one coming tomorrow, Saturday, June 18th!

WHAT: Join the Indianapolis Museum of Art in celebrating the start of summer this Saturday with music, food, games and art! Musical artists Moor.dUB, Dream Chief, Alex Hall, Mr. Kinetik, and DJ Fate will be performing in The Virginia B. Fairbanks Art & Nature Park: 100 Acres throughout the afternoon.

Summer Solstice at IMA _ Indy's Child MagazineSit on picnic blankets and relax, dance or bring art to trade with fellow collectors at the 2nd Annual Indy Art Swap in partnership withIndy Star. For budding young musicians, Girls Rock! Indianapolis is hosting a musical petting zoo, drum circle and guitar decorating activity. Ride your bike to the event and join the traveling bike festival down the Canal Towpath, led by Reconnecting Our Waterways (ROW) and Big Car. Here are some other ways to celebrate dad on Father’s Day Weekend at the IMA.
