Parents Night Out Indianapolis Guide

Hey the kids are alright. At least they will be at one of the local organizations who offer fun Parents Night Out programs – perfect planning for a parental date night OR burning off some toddler steam. Plus they make a great alternative to a regular babysitter. Here’s a full breakdown of spots around the Indianapolis area that offer Parents Night Out programs.

Citywide

Various YMCA Locations

A true bonus for YMCA members: Multiple greater Indianapolis area locations host a weekly Parents Night Out program including the Arthur Jordan YMCA {86th/Westfield} and Hendricks Regional Health {Avon} centers. Kids can be dropped off for 5 hours of fun including swimming, pizza dinner, crafts and movie.

Central

Dana Mannix Gymnastics

The Dana Mannix Saturday Night Out provides plenty of activities to keep every kid happy.  It offers plenty of trampolines, obstacle courses, a bounce house, pizza, and more.

Cost:  $25/child and $20/sibling if pre-registered; $30 at door

Five Seasons Family Sports Club

Themed Kids’ Nights are offered twice a month – Attendees can enjoy a whole night as a superhero saving the village or clown at the carnival, depending on the week. Call to register.

Location: 1300 N. 96th St, Indianapolis

Cost: $16 for the first child and $8 for siblings.

 

Geist Sports Academy

Jump for joy!  This event includes lots of bouncing, racing, and playing around.  Registration is required, so call ahead to book spots.

Location: 11960 E 62nd St, Indianapolis

Cost: $20/first child; $15 for siblings

North United Methodist Church

Kids jam out for four hours while playing games and competitions at the North United Methodist Church Kids Night Out.  NUMC provides dinner, dessert, and drinks and registration is required.

Location: 3808 N. Meridian St, Indianapolis

Cost: $15/child

 

Riviera Club

Drop the kids off the third Saturday of the every month at the Rivi, where they can swim to their hearts content.  The event also includes a movie and dinner.  Registration is required.

Location: 5640 N. Illinois St, Indianapolis

Cost: Members are $15/ea, or $40 for families of 3 kids or more. Non-members $25/ea.

Northside

Bounce U

This one is sure to please!  Let the kids go crazy jumping and jamming on the exciting inflatables at Bounce U. Each Parents Night Out event also includes dinner {usually pizza}, drinks and a craft.

Cost: $30 for kids at the door; $25 for registered kids; $5 off siblings

 

Hamilton County Sports Complex

Hamilton County Sports Complex raises the bar by adding themes to their monthly Kids Night as well. Check out the themes and pre-register online.

Location: 9625 E. 150th St, Noblesville

Cost: $30 for kids at the door, $25 for registered kids and $15 for registered siblings

 

Interactive Academy

A Parent’s Night Out program that features fun and fitness: Includes a movie, games, crafts, and, of course, gymnastics.  This monthly PNO usually runs from 5-9pm and also include dinner for attendees.

Location: 3795 US-421, Zionsville

Cost: $35

 

Krav Maga

Get ready for a kicking night full of competitions, crafts, prizes and a movie: This Kids Night is open to all children ages 5-12.  Dinner is also included. Registration is preferred, as there is a door fee. Parents Night Out programs will resume again in the fall so keep an eye on their website for announcements.

Cost: $20/first child; $10/siblings. Watch for specials as well.

 

The Music Playhouse

A great evening for tykes and tots: Kids up to six years old can join the high-energy atmosphere of singing, dancing, and snacking, and we hear this is a favorite for many families. You do NOT need to be a member of The Music Playhouse program to attend. Register online or call to reserve your space.

Wrights FUNdamentals North

It’s ‘ninja school’ by day and a fun spot for Kids Night Out at night. The Wright’s FUNdamentals North location in Westfield offers a Kids Night the first Saturday of every month from 6-9pm and includes pizza dinner and lots of activity guaranteed to tire out attendees.

Southside

Wrights FUNdamentals Southeast

Also ‘ninja school’ by day and spot for Kids Night Out, the Wright’s FUNdamentals Southeast location in Greenwood offers a Kids Night the last Saturday of every month from 7-9:30pm with plenty of jumping fun and a snack.

Cost: $12/child for members; $15/child non-members

West

The Well Community Center

FREE childcare is available with this occasional Parents Night Out program run by The Well Community Center of Brownsburg. This program runs during school months and is open to preschool and elementary students. Attendees will have free play, enjoy a magic show, have story time, make a craft, games
snack and a movie. All students should be fed prior to attending parent night out.

Special Needs

Easter Seals Crossroads

Easter Seals offers programs for both children {ages 6mos-12 years} and teens with special needs with a guaranteed 1:3 and 1:4 ratio of caregivers to kids/teens. Kids Night Out is available on Fridays at select locations, and Teens Night is monthly at the Monon Center. Registration required.

Location: Varies – central, north, south, east and west Indianapolis locations available

JCC

This program is specialized for kids {ages 2-11} with special needs and their siblings, and runs select months of the year from 6-10pm. Everyone will have a safe and fun time with the 1:3 staff-to-child ratio. Registration is required as space is limited and walk-ins are not accepts.

Location: 6701 Hoover Rd, Indianapolis

Cost: $5/child
