Free outdoor movies are coming to Fishers Event Center this fall, with three Saturday night screenings planned for the FORUM Credit Union Plaza.
The Movies in the Plaza series begins Sept. 12 with Back to the Future, followed by Miracle on Oct. 3 and Hocus Pocus on Oct. 10. Admission and surface parking are free, and no tickets or advance registration are required.
Gates open at 6 p.m. for each event, with the movies beginning at 7 p.m.

Movies in the Plaza schedule
- Saturday, Sept. 12: Back to the Future — The series opens with the 1980s time-travel favorite.
- Saturday, Oct. 3: Miracle — The sports drama brings an underdog story centered on teamwork and determination to the plaza.
- Saturday, Oct. 10: Hocus Pocus — The final movie night shifts into Halloween mode with the family favorite.
What families should know before the movie
All three movies will be shown outdoors on the FORUM Credit Union Plaza in front of Fishers Event Center. Families can bring lawn chairs or blankets for seating and should plan for the weather. The venue recommends bringing appropriate gear for the forecast, including sunglasses or ponchos when needed.
No outside food or drinks are permitted. Food and beverages will be available for purchase inside Fishers Event Center, including themed menu items tied to the movie nights.
Free surface parking will be available for moviegoers.
