Nature center mascots Olive the Owl and Doug the Deer join a Brown County State Park naturalist for a story such as Mossy by Jan Brett beside a small campfire at the edge of the woods. Families meet at the fire ring behind the Friends’ Shelterhouse near the Nature Center and can arrive early to enjoy the fire. The naturalists also take suggestions for kid-friendly nature books.
Story time is included with the park entrance fee.
