The Athenaeum Christkindlmarkt brings a German-style holiday market to the heart of Mass Avenue’s Arts District. Visitors can browse local vendors for handmade gifts, hear live music and entertainment, and enjoy raclette, glühwein, and plenty of Plätzchen. The market highlights storytelling traditions from German culture, and all of its vendor huts for 2026 are filled. The event is free and open to the public, with food and gifts available for purchase. Activities take place in the historic Biergarten and welcome families and groups of all sizes.
The market is open Fridays through Sundays from Nov. 27 to Dec. 20, 2026. Hours for 2026 have not been announced yet.
