AES Indiana Yuletide Celebration marks its 40th anniversary with host Curtis Bannister and a holiday production featuring a full orchestra, vocalists, cirque artists and choreography under Maestro Everly’s direction. Audiences can watch returning favorites such as ’Twas the Night Before Christmas and the tap-dancing Santas alongside new performances.
Featured performers include Nick Hodge on the Cyr Wheel, newcomer Ermiyas Muluken on the Rolla Bolla, and Kevin Lin and Sherry Hong performing a violin duet.
Guests can arrive early for seasonal treats, festive décor, holiday costumed characters, photo opportunities and live music on the Wurlitzer organ in the theatre lobby.
The Dec. 9 (7:30 p.m.) and Dec. 12 (2 p.m.) performances include an ASL interpreter and audio description. A new Brunch with Santa runs from noon to 2 p.m. on Dec. 13 and 20 ($65 for adults, $30 for children 12 and under) and requires a ticket to that day’s 2 p.m. concert. The ISO recommends the show for ages 4 and up, and every guest needs a ticket.
Weeknight performances offer the best seating choices. For weekend concerts, ticket buyers can check “main floor rear” and “balcony rear” if other sections are sold out.
