Discovery Station at Conner Prairie

Discovery Station at Conner Prairie is a place where imaginations are set free to explore. It seems they have thought of everything a little person may enjoy. Children can create, climb, explore, play, and let their imaginations run wild! Discovery Station offers many activities, including a craft corner, a reading nook, a train table, lots of building toys, several areas for pretend play, a structure to climb, and a special area for babies to play.

Discovery Station is one of Conner Prairie’s indoor areas, geared toward children aged 0 to 9. Children can can create, climb, explore, play, and lots more!

Activities to explore within Conner Prairies Discovery Station:

Fort Building

One of the most unique activities inside of Discovery Station is the fort building area. In this zone, you will find all the equipment you need to build a one-of-a-kind fort. Kids can use poles and blankets to build a giant colorful hideout for exploring and playing.

Dress up & Pretend Play

Playground

Crafting

If you can think of an idea for a craft, chances are you could make it at Conner Prairies Discovery Station. The crafting zone has tons of supplies just waiting for kids to come and create something special. They also provide several ideas to help get the inspiration going. 

Baby Zone

Babies under one can enjoy an area all to themselves where they can explore their surroundings. 

When is Discovery Station Open?

Discovery Station is open Thursdays through Sundays from 10 am to 5 pm. To make sure everyone stays safe and to prevent overcrowding, there is a 50-person limit.
