Trees of Plainfield

Families can enjoy an evening walk through the Fourth Annual Trees of Plainfield, held at the Al & Jan Barker Sports Complex. The event features a glowing trail of decorated Christmas trees, sweet treats from local food vendors, and a mix of simple, family-friendly activities. Kids can look for the Grinch, visit with Mrs. Claus, join snowball fights, roast s’mores by the fire, and help decorate community trees, while adults take in the lights and atmosphere. Admission is free, so it is an easy add to the holiday calendar for families, neighbors, and friends.

Each event night includes special programming that starts in the evening, with rotating activities that may appeal to different ages and interests. Some nights focus on crafts, others on meeting Santa or the Grinch, and one evening features a holiday-themed music game.
