Sensory Swim Time at Murphy Aquatic Park

July 19 | 9:30 – 11 am | Murphy Aquatic Park

A quieter water exploration experience at Murphy Aquatic Park. The Wave Pool will be off and off limits to the Sensory Swim Guests during Sensory Swim Time. The Activity Pool, Toddler Zone, and Central Play Feature will be open and limited to half capacity.

Tuttle’s Adventure Days for Kids

July 19 | 10 am – 1 pm | Tuttle Orchard

Want a fun summer outing for your kids? Tuttle Orchards is offering, Adventure Days, an opportunity for elementary-aged kids to explore some science on the farm with hands-on activities and crafts! Each week we will have a fun and exciting new theme.  This experience is approximately 30 minutes and includes playtime in Tractor Town. It is designed for children 5 to 8 years old, but other siblings may attend.

Take Flight Wildlife Education’s Mark Booth will bring several owls to share at this week’s Cool Creek Campfire. He will share their amazing adaptations with us and present live birds to help participants appreciate the diversity of owls in our state! Free.

Create-A-Saurus: Discover, Imagine, and Sculpt Paleo Art

July 21 | 9 am | The Children’s Museum of Indianapolis

If you love dinosaurs (and who doesn’t?) and love to create art, then why not combine BOTH in our newly reopened Dinosphere Art Lab! Your family can become paleontologists, investigating the bones of dinosaurs to learn how they lived millions of years ago. Then use those discoveries to inspire you to make paleo art sculptures, from a variety of art materials, and create dinosaurs of your own!

Garfield Park Biergarten in the Sunken Garden

July 21 | 5:30 – 8:30 pm | Garfield Sunken Garden

Enjoy an evening in the Sunken Garden with the Garfield Brewery! During these special evenings in the Garde, visitors can also enjoy food from The Original Swayzee Hand Breaded Tenderloin and live music and performances. Event admission is free.
