The ever so popular Touch A Truck events are back in Indy and better than ever this year! How often can kids climb into a fire truck, a bulldozer or a dump truck just for fun? Towns throughout metro Indy have stepped up to host.
Keep in mind that due to noise (like honking horns!) these events can be overwhelming for young children or those with special sensory needs – use your best judgment if attending is right for you.
So for your truck or ‘everything with wheels’ enthusiast, here’s a guide to all the 2021 Touch A Truck events near Indianapolis. *

Date: Saturday, March 13 | 12pm-5pm
Location: 101 W South St, Greenfield 46140
Not only will your children love exploring and touching their favorite big trucks and heavy equipment, but they will also meet first responders and operators for that equipment. Safety demonstrations, activities for kids and families, and food vendors will be on hand. Noon-1pm will be quiet hour. Free.
Date: Saturday, September 25 | 10am- 2pm
Location: Johnson County Fairgrounds, 250 Fairgrounds St, Franklin, IN
This family-friendly, interactive community event allows you to discover and explore various trucks, tractors, and big machines! The event is $5 per ticket for each person attending. We offer a horn-free hour with reduced noise at 10a-11a. Each vehicle will have a driver present to answer your questions and help kids explore! Bring your cameras 🙂 There will be food & other vendors available. You won’t want to miss this unique community event! This interactive outdoor family festival brings together our community and those who work to serve, protect, and grow it! Admission is $5/per person.

Touch a Truck provides a unique opportunity for children to explore vehicles of all types – public service, emergency utility, construction, transportation, delivery, and just plain cool – all in one place.

Location: Winslow Sports Complex, 2800 S. Highland Avenue, Bloomington, IN 47401
Giving tiny drivers the green light to sit behind the wheel and honk the horn to their little hearts’ content in every type of vehicle imaginable! Get up close and personal with fire trucks, ambulances, buses, bucket trucks, tractors and more at the 19th annual Touch a Truck. Admission is $1. Pay an extra $1 for unlimited rides down a monster truck combo slide.

Location: Brown County High School parking lot, 235 School House Ln, Nashville, IN 47448
The Brown County Touch-A-Truck event is a free, hands-on event that provides kids with the opportunity to see, touch and explore their favorite big trucks, heavy equipment and emergency vehicles as well as interact with community support leaders including police officers, firemen, construction workers and more! Bring the entire family to get up close with these vehicles, learn about what they do, how they work and how they benefit our community! “Quiet hour” from 10a-11a. Free.

Every kids’ favorite vehicles gather together so your little ones can climb in and bring their toy trucks to life. Local departments and companies will pack the parking lot from 9 to noon. Stay tuned to see where this year’s location will be! $2 per child.

Location: The Village at Winona
Join the village for an up-close opportunity for children and adults to see and touch various trucks and machinery. We will have city trucks, construction machinery, as well as a few other surprises. A great chance for the whole family to see this awesome equipment.
