Raging Waves Waterpark

There are several waterparks in the Chicago area, but Raging Waves is the largest in the state. Their claim to fame is The Boomerang, a 40-foot drop followed by twists and turns. Check out Wild Wallabies, a race down two slides to see who gets to the bottom first. The entire family can enjoy the lazy river and wave pool, along with acres of sand and beach-like atmosphere.

Wildwater Adventure

Wildwater Adventure is included with admission to Michigan’s Adventure amusement park, and guests can enjoy the Funnel of Fear, a two-person inner-tube that drops into a large funnel and slide around and around until finally dropping through the narrow bottom. Big Splash Adventure

Big Splash Adventure in French Lick doesn’t have as many large slides and attractions, however, if you’re looking for something closer to home, it’s certainly a fun time for all. The Jolly Roger Jetty slide features seven curves and turns for a thrilling ride. The Scallywag Scuttle and Pirate’s Plunder are both fully enclosed body slides, complete with twists and turns before landing in the splash pool. Buccaneer Bay is a three-story structure for the entire family with ten platforms and nearly 50 interactive play features.
