The Christmas Cave The Christmas Cave is located in Minford, OH. Now in its sixth season, the display features nearly a mile of self-guided displays, both above and below ground in the White Gravel Mines. The mine’s mysterious passages are decked out with lights depicting the Christmas story, including three Nativity exhibits. In addition, there are also two tunnels of lights and new outdoor displays. Last year, 28,000 people walked its grounds during the holiday season, some traveling hundreds of miles to see the spectacle. When is the Christmas Cave Open? The Christmas Cave is open every Friday and Saturday (plus Dec 10 & 11, 17 & 18) from 4-10 pm. The Mine gate will open starting at 4 pm with the gates closing at 10 pm. A $1 per person donation is appreciated at the entrance to the cave, but no one will ever be turned away. All proceeds are used for improvements and additions to our positive community events.
