Summer Solstice Celebration

WHAT: Kick off the start of summer with friends and family at the IMA’s Summer Solstice celebration! The entire IMA campus will be free and open to the public for the celebration, including the special exhibition, Dream Cars: Innovative Design, Visionary Ideas.

Pack your basket and join in a giant community picnic. Cool off with a drink from Sun King Brewing and snack on grub from on-site food trucks. Lounge on your blanket and enjoy a free concert by Aurelio Martinez in The Toby.

Participate in the inaugural Indy Art Swap and trade artworks from your collection for new ones in this unique twist on an art fair. No cash transactions allowed- just art!

Peruse hundreds of plants from hard-to-find natives to popular perennials at the Madeline F. Elder Greenhouse Summer Solstice Plant Sale, featuring 50 percent off perennials, shrubs and select annuals. Shuttles will be available to take guests to and from the Greenhouse.

Additional parking and shuttles will be available from 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Museum and Indiana Interchurch Center (1100 W. 42nd St).
