Kids Can Make Their Own Ice Cream at BRICS DIY Pint Events

What’s better than eating a pint of BRICS ice cream? Creating your own pint of BRICS ice cream! Local Indianapolis ice cream shop BRICS, located in Broad Ripple, offers a monthly event where kids and adults can flex their culinary creativity during one of their DIY Pint Events (website), where guests can create their own ice cream flavors to take home and enjoy.

Kids can make up to four custom vegan or dairy pints of ice cream during this interactive, 20-minute session.

Step 1: Kids can choose from five base flavors of ice cream, including vanilla, chocolate, strawberry, peanut butter, and caramel.

Step 2: Then, kids choose from a list of six mix-ins, including Oreos, sprinkles, Reese’s peanut butter cups, mini chocolate chips, peanuts, and cookie dough pieces.

Step 3: Next, kids can add sauces, if they wish, like marshmallow, peanut butter and butterscotch.

Step 4: Lastly, kids can come up with a name for their new flavor (the more creative, the better!), and then pose for a photo at the BRICS photo op.
