A Historic Jail House Turned Restaurant

Located near Lebanon’s Courthouse Square, Chabella’s Social Block is housed in what was once the Boone County Jail. It’s now a unique restaurant that combines local history and a varied menu. Dining inside Chabella’s is as interesting as the menu itself.

Mexican Food and More is on the Menu at Chabella’s Social Block

The jailhouse setting is definitely a big reason to visit Chabella’s Social Block. But the food is also great, and there are a variety of offerings on the menu to satisfy almost any palate.

Mostly, the menu focuses on Mexican food, such as tacos, carne asada, quesadillas, chimichangas and arroz con pollo.

Not in the mood for Mexican? There are other things on the menu, like steaks, seafood, burgers and more. Chabella’s also has a big kids menu, with favorites like mac and cheese, cheeseburgers and chicken tenders. Lunch specials are served from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. every day, and dinner is served until 9 p.m. Sunday through Thursday, and 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday.

Drinks are another part of the experience. For the adults, Chabella’s offers cocktails like their signature margarita, local beer, and wine. Coke products round out the beverage list.
