Come learn, laugh, sing, and dream big with the Indianapolis Children’s Choir at Summer Music Camp! It’s ideal for kids in grades 1-8 who love music, no matter their level of experience. This week-long camp is packed with part-singing, instruments, music games, and crafts, and ends with a concert where campers will perform for family and friends.

What is the camper-to-counselor ratio?

Approximately 7 campers to 1 counselor/helper.

How much time do the campers spend outside?

About 30 minutes daily, depending upon weather conditions.

Does the camp provide lunch/snacks or do parents need to provide them?

Daily snacks are included, lunch needs to be provided by the camper’s family each day.

What is the typical daily schedule for campers?

Campers can expect a rotation of sessions with the entire camp group and smaller break-out groups throughout the day. This includes activities like daily vocal warmups, learning songs and music theory, breaks for crafts and snacks, and sessions that will go over things like movement and instruments.

How old are the counselors and how are they trained?

Directors are adults and camp helper volunteers are students in middle school – college who are trained and have previously been involved with the ICC.

What accommodations are made for campers with special needs?

We aim to accommodate each individual’s needs through conversations with caregivers. Outside of camp, the ICC offers a dedicated special needs choir and therefore has experience working with children that have special needs.

What are the details for the end-of-camp concert?

Just a Dream Away Concert
June 5, 2025 at 4:30 pm OR July 24, 2025 at 4:30 pm (depending upon your camper’s session)

The concert will take place at Cornerstone Lutheran Church in Carmel. Campers will be bussed to the concert location and need to be picked up at the conclusion of the concert from the venue.
