What makes your camp unique?
Sycamore offer 1/2 specialty camps taught by instructors highly skilled in the topic of the camp, not just temporary summer staff. This highly skilled instruction provides campers with a fully immersive and engaging summer camp.


What activities are offered at your camp?
With more than 140 different camps, over 7 weeks your child is bound to finda topic they want to experience. Cooking, coding, math, art, pottery, drama, chess, creative writing, history & so much more!
What is the camper-to-counselor ratio?
Sycamore strives to keep a 1-10 ratio with all of their camps.


How much time do the campers spend outside?
Outside time varies depending on the theme of the specialty camp. Some camps will spend the majority of their 3 hours outdoors, while others might spend as little as 15 minutes outside.
Does the camp provide lunch/snacks or do parents need to provide them?
All campers receive a snack during their camp. Lunch is not provided and must be brought from home.



What is the typical daily schedule for campers?Â
A typical schedule in most camps will be an hour and 15 minutes of instruction, a 15-20 snack/recess break and then an hour and 30 minutes of instruction. Instruction time varies by camp, but is highly interactive & hands-on.


How old are the counselors and how are they trained?
All instructors at Sycamore must be 18 years or old.
What accommodations are made for campers with special needs?
All special need accommodations are discussed individually with families and every effort is made to ensure campers have the best possible experience at Sycamore.
