Anderson University is ready to light up its beloved Valley with Christmas cheer this winter. The university is hosting a new Christmas lights spectacular, Illuminate: Christmas in the Valley, that will run through the holiday season.
Anderson University welcomes the community to campus to celebrate the holiday season with Illuminate. The students, families from the community, and local organizations will enjoy spending time together surrounded by all the festive sights and sounds of Christmas.
Anderson University will illuminate its campus with Christmas lights on buildings and monuments. The Christmas in the Valley event runs from November 30 through December 30. Guests can make donations if they feel led to, but Illuminate will be free of charge.
“Illuminate will be a place where you can bring your friends and family and experience the joy of the holiday season,” said Melissa Bond, director of student engagement.
Window Genie will help make the event a reality by installing the lights each year.
Journey through the Valley and enjoy a unique winter wonderland that will delight guests young and old. This free Christmas light event is open to the public. Special events will take place December 9 & 10, 6-9 p.m., so be sure to check the calendar for festive and family-friendly opportunities such as:
