Ice Skating in Hamilton County

The cold weather of the winter months is slowly creeping in, and why not embrace it? This is the perfect time of year to bundle the kiddos up and let them try their hand at ice skating. Fortunately for us, there are several great rinks to choose from right here in Hamilton County!

 

Fuel Tank at Fishers

Formerly the FORUM at Fishers. Public skate is offered daily. Click here for a live schedule. Holiday skate times are also available. Thinking about taking lessons? The Fuel Tank hosts USFS Basic Skills program. Students are assigned to class based on skill level. Classes are offered year-round for ages three and up at all skill levels. Skaters will learn proper skating techniques to enjoy skating in any on-ice situation.

Admission: $9; $12 for Cosmic Rock N Skate w/ Live DJ. Skate rental: $3.

Federal Hill Commons Ice Plaze – NEW!

175 W Logan St, Noblesville

Head to the brand new outdoor skating rink in Federal Hill Commons in Noblesville for some good old outdoor skating fun.  The temporary ice rink will open at 11 a.m. Friday, November 24 and will be open daily until January 8, 2018, except on Christmas Day. Click here for hours. Concessions also will be available for purchase during rink hours.

Admission rates are $12. Guests may bring their own skates if they prefer, but renting skates is included in the admission fee

Carmel Ice Skadium

1040 3rd Avenue SW, Carmel  {317} 844-8888  

The Zotec Partners Carmel Ice Skadium is a two-sheet, ice rink facility in Carmel, Indiana. Founded in 1974, the building has been serving generations of figure and recreational skaters, along with our city’s hockey community for over 40 years. The Zotec Partners Carmel Ice Skadium is home to two, NHL-sized rinks, along with a fully-stocked snack bar, party rooms and a pro shop. Public skate times offered daily. Do you like hockey and want to work on your skills? Then be sure to stop by during their weekly stick and puck hours. Helmet, stick and gloves are required. Adult open hockey is also available for those 18 and older who would like to participate in a friendly no-check pick-up game without the commitment of a league. A cosmic skate is offered every Saturday evening. Times are subject to change. Check out their calendar for public skate times.

The Ice at Center Green – NEW!

Lace up your skates and enjoy Carmel’s brand new outdoor ice rink in the heart of Center Green, nestled between the Palladium concert hall, the Tarkington Theater and the Studio Theater. Open November 18 through March 11 (weather permitting). Click here for hours.

Admission Wednesdays and Thursdays 4-9 p.m. Special $6 rate for all ages; Friday – Sunday each session – $9 for Adults and $6 Children 10 and under

Arctic Zone Iceplex Westfield

Arctic Zone has a lot to offer guests including public skating, lessons, stick and puck hours, Birthday parties, hockey clinics and camps and a High School hockey high-intensity weight training program. Check out Cheap Skate Thursdays from 3:30 to 5:15. Just $6 includes admission, skate rental, a hot dog and a 12 ounce drink. Public skate times vary; click here for their calendar for times. Cosmic skate open Friday-Saturday at 7:30pm.
