If your kids raked in more candy than their tiny teeth can handle this Halloween, there are a number of dentists in the area that will gladly take the excess candy off your hands. But wait, this deal gets even better – many of these dentists will pay you for the candy you turn in (on average $1 per pound). And, here’s the kicker, all of the candy collected will be sent to our troops overseas. It is all part of the Halloween Candy Buyback program, which in turn provides candy to Operation Gratitude to be used in Holiday care packages for our troops. And we think it is a pretty awesome idea all the way around.
