The sensory-friendly Special Needs Screenings at SMG locations offer an inclusive movie experience for all. During these screenings, the lights are turned up, the volume is lowered, and guests are encouraged to move around, talk, or even dance in the aisles as they please. Special Needs Screenings take place at 11:00 am across all SMG venues.

This Independence Day, visit the home of America’s Hoosier President and join us for a patriotic celebration for the whole family! Free to attend. Reservations are required.
Canal Nights at the Indiana State Museum
Join museum staff and community partners along the canal walk outside the museum for family-friendly outdoor activities and themed, hands-on experiments.
The Eugene and Marilyn Glick Indiana History Center is FREE on Thursdays (10 a.m. to 6 p.m.) during the 2023 summer concert season (June 1 – July 27). Free admission tickets can be reserved online or get them at the door.
Every Wednesday evening in the summer, when the sun is beginning to set, you will find a group of Indy-area families gathered around the campfire ring in the middle of Cool Creek Park.
