Get ready for a taste of the islands right here in Indiana! Island vibes are coming to Fishers on August 2, from 6–9 p.m. at Geist Waterfront Park! The annual Fishers Lū’au invites families and friends to celebrate Polynesian culture with a night packed full of music, food, and fun—all with beautiful lakeside views. Bonus: It’s FREE to attend!

What to Expect
This free, family-friendly event brings the sights, sounds, and flavors of a traditional Polynesian Lū’au to Fishers. The main stage will light up with spectacular live performances by Lanakila’s, direct from Orlando, as well as energetic pre-show entertainment from the Children of Moana Nui O Kiva.

Event Highlights:
- Live Stage Shows: Enjoy authentic Polynesian dance, music, fire performances, and interactive moments that let the audience join in on the fun.
- Lei Greetings: Receive a colorful lei upon arrival—just like at a true Hawaiian luau!
- Beach Games & Activities: Try your hand at beach games, participate in the limbo contest, and explore craft stations including paper flower making, surfboard design, poi ball demonstrations, and a postcard station (Fishers Parks will even mail your postcard home for you!).
- Free Ukulele Lessons: Learn to strum a few chords during free mini-lessons.
- Swimming: Take a dip—lifeguards will be on duty throughout the evening.
- Photo Opportunities: Snap a fun pic at the 360 photo booth or with themed backdrops.
- Food & Treats: Satisfy your cravings with a variety of food, beverage, and treat vendors on site.
- Temporary Tattoos: Add a bit of island flair with a free temporary tattoo.

Schedule of Events:
- 6:00–7:45 p.m.: Activities open and pre-show entertainment by Children of Moana Nui O Kiva.
- 7:00 p.m.: Limbo contest on the beach (ages 16+ for adults, 15 and under for kids).
- 7:45 p.m.: More pre-show music featuring ukulele and guitar.
- 8:00–9:00 p.m.: Main stage performance by Lanakila’s, featuring dances representing several islands, dazzling wardrobe changes, fire performances, and plenty of opportunities for audience participation.

Parking & Accessibility:
VIP Parking: Available for $20 per vehicle (advance purchase required). Pick up your pass at Fishers Parks HQ (8100 E. 106th St.) before the event. Passes will not be available on-site.
Free Parking & Shuttle: Park for free at Grace Church (12450 Olio Road, Fishers) and ride the shuttle to the park. Strollers must be folded, and car seats are not allowed on shuttles.
Accessible Parking: On-site for vehicles with a valid ADA placard or license plate.
