Indiana Beach has a pretty good reason to make a last-minute trip to Monticello this Friday: admission and select rides are completely free.
Free Ride Friday takes place Friday, Sept. 11, from 5 to 11 p.m. Families can enter Indiana Beach for free and ride eight select attractions at no charge from 5 to 9 p.m. Food will be available for purchase throughout the evening, followed by live music from Little Giant at the Sky Bar from 7 to 11 p.m.
No general admission ticket is required for the event, which is open to the public.
Which Indiana Beach rides are free?
Eight attractions are scheduled to operate from 5 to 9 p.m. during Free Ride Friday:
- Hoosier Hurricane
- Music Express
- Falling Star
- Dodg’em Bumper Cars
- Den of Lost Thieves
- Tilt-A-Whirl
- Sky Ride, including the full trip down and back
- Zero Gravity
The lineup includes a mix of bigger rides and family-friendly attractions, although families with younger children will want to check individual ride height requirements before getting in line.
Food and live music are part of the night
Several Indiana Beach food stands will be open from 5 to 9 p.m., with food available for purchase. Options include Funnel Cake Factory, Pronto Pup, Safari So Good: Elephant Ears, Blue Jay Café and IB Dipped.
Papa Geno’s Skyroom will also be open with reservations available.
After the rides close at 9 p.m., the night keeps going at the Sky Bar. Little Giant performs from 7 to 11 p.m.
