Jingle Rails: The Great Western Adventure at the Eiteljorg Museum

Jingle Rails: The Great Western Adventure returns as one of Indianapolis’s favorite holiday traditions. Inside the Eiteljorg Museum, families can watch eight G-scale model trains wind through detailed landscapes built from natural materials, passing familiar Indiana landmarks and iconic scenes from the American West. Each setting glows with festive decorations and tiny twinkling lights, creating a cozy, imaginative experience that appeals to both kids and adults.

Scenes include the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, the Soldiers and Sailors Monument, Lucas Oil Stadium, Route 66, the Grand Canyon, an erupting Old Faithful, the Golden Gate Bridge, the Las Vegas Strip and Hoover Dam, all built from natural materials such as bark, twigs, pinecone scales, nut shells and cinnamon sticks. The exhibit is included with museum admission, and parking in the White River State Park garage is free.

Jingle Rails offers a calm, visually rich outing for families, train enthusiasts, and anyone who enjoys creative craftsmanship paired with the sights and sounds of the season.
