Ice Ribbon at Grand Junction Plaza

Add to calendar

The Ice Ribbon returns to Grand Junction Plaza in downtown Westfield for its second season of holiday skating. The skating loop at the north end of the plaza uses synthetic ice, so sessions run in any weather.

Each session lasts 90 minutes and holds up to 90 skaters. Sessions start at 4 and 6 p.m. on Thursdays and Fridays, at noon, 2, 4 and 6 p.m. on Saturdays and at 2, 4 and 6 p.m. on Dec. 21 to 23 and Dec. 28 to 30. Tickets must be bought online before the session and go on sale Nov. 6 at 8 a.m. The $10 ticket includes skate rental; processing fees are extra. Rental skates come in youth sizes 10.5 to 6, women’s 4 to 15 and men’s 6 to 13. Skaters can bring their own skates if they have no toe picks. Skate aids are free, first come, first served, and lessons are not offered.

There are no regular sessions on Saturday, Dec. 5, when Westfield in Lights brings three special skating sessions to the plaza (fee applies). Questions go to [email protected].
