Holiday Lights Railbike Adventure

Add to calendar

The Holiday Lights Railbike Adventure is a pedal-powered ride on the historic Nickel Plate rails from Forest Park toward downtown Noblesville and back, past holiday lights that include a 60-foot light tunnel. Riders check in at Santa’s House in Forest Park and can warm up at the fire pits before boarding.

At the turnaround, riders step off for a cup of hot chocolate and a cookie while the crew turns the seats around. Each way takes 10 to 15 minutes, and the whole trip lasts about an hour. Gluten-free, dairy-free and nut-free cookies are available.

Riders pedal the railbikes, and children must stay seated and supervised. Children under 3 ride free when strapped to an adult in an infant carrier the family brings. Railbikes leave on time, so late arrivals may miss the ride. Rides run in cold weather, so riders should bring a coat and a small blanket. Departures are at 5:15, 6:30, 7:45 and 9 p.m. most nights. On Saturday, Nov. 21, rides leave at 5:15 and 9 p.m. only, and on Thanksgiving, Thursday, Nov. 26, at 7:45 and 9 p.m. only. Saturdays Nov. 28 and Dec. 5 have no 6:30 p.m. ride. Opening night, Thursday, Nov. 19, is waitlist-only as of Oct. 22, 2026.
