Eagle Creek Park turns its fall wagon rides into a Haunted Hayride for two nights, with spookier sights along the 40-minute route around the park’s fields, forest and roadways. Seats are sold individually on shared public wagons, and group wagons are not available for these rides.
Rides leave at 6, 7 and 8 p.m. from the Eagle Creek Beach concession stand at 7602 Eagle Beach Drive. Riders should arrive at least 15 minutes early and bring blankets, since there are no official seats. Hot chocolate, cider and s’mores kits are sold at the concession stand.
Tickets are $15 per person for ages 5 and older, and online registration closes at 5 p.m. the Thursday before. Park admission is extra: $6 per car for Marion County residents and $8 for nonresidents. Riders enter and exit through the 56th Street gate.
